Oh wow, so much goodness in this episode, and a bit of frustration as well. I was positively surprised how little actual drama there was, not that I’m complaining. In some ways this almost felt like a series finale, but I’m incredibly happy we’re getting another season.

This day we watched unfold was of course less than beautiful, which was to be expected, and it certainly didn’t end on any kind of beautiful note or notion. The episode left me absolutely deflated, and I think I would have struggled with this recap even if I’d had the time to write it up before the season finale.

Well, we were finally “blessed” with a resolution to the Glassman brain conundrum, not that I particularly love the outcome. But I like it more than what had been speculated before, so I’ll take this as a small win. Some good stuff in this episode overall. Oh, also: We’re getting a season 7!! Yay!!!! 🎉🥳🍾

This episode was a lot of love/hate. I hated it more than I thought I would because of where we all think this might be headed. On the other hand, I also loved some aspects of it, plus nice directing work by Freddie Highmore!

Here we were, after a two-week cliffhangery wait to eagerly learn about whether Glassman’s fate was sealed, but… what we actually learned wasn’t that. Not a bad episode at all, but having to wait yet another week for that potential punch in the gut was a little frustrating.

Ah geez. Way to drop another bomb on us. Or, well, mightily hint at it in those last few seconds. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves, there’s much more to uncover before we get to that part. Let’s get into it.

How sweet and wholesome was this episode? The whole time I felt like Shaun, giddily bobbing up and down outside Lim’s office when Jared was hired. ALL the Shaun love, and old friends returning didn’t just make Shaun happy.

Can’t say I was very impressed with this one. While mildly amusing at times, it was more than mildly frustrating at others, with patient stories that should have been heartfelt but somehow didn’t deliver on the emotional depth they should have had.

Another thoroughly enjoyable episode that hit all the right beats and was overall wholesome and cohesive with just the right amount of character development. If the season continues like this, I’m happy.
