Okay, mixed feelings about this one. I thought it had potential to be major cringe, and thankfully it wasn’t that. On the first viewing, it gave me all the happy feels, but the more I think about it and discuss it with others, the more I feel they could have done so much better with this one. Let’s take a look at the details.

I will say that I didn’t like this episode much after the first viewing because it felt like the direction of where this was headed could be major cringe. However, I may have changed my mind in the meantime, because it could open up new and interesting avenues to explore. So I’m trying to keep an open mind and hope that the writers don’t disappoint.
Continue readingOh man. They’re really pulling the comedy out of the bag mid-season, aren’t they? I honestly don’t really know how to feel about this one. Gave me a few good chuckles, but I’m not one for the in-your-face slapsticky comedy, so I thought Potluck was a bit too over the top and silly. But it also had great and thoughtful moments. Maybe it’ll win me over on a rewatch.

Continue readingI’d say more of a run-of-the-mill episode, this one. I’m tempted to say patient-of-the-week, even. Continue readingFirst of all FUCK YES! We are renewed for season 6!! I’m so stoked! Second of all, aww, this was such a feel-good episode. I chuckled, I smiled, I aw’ed, I had fun. A much needed reprieve after all the stress and hardship and emotional turmoil. I loved it.
Continue readingThis one felt like a solid one with good storytelling and ample emotional moments. I really enjoyed it, and may or may not have teared up once or twice.
Continue readingOkay, Team Taylor, Blake and Listo did it. You restored my faith and redeemed the show a fair amount. Cause this episode was fabulous in so many ways. I really needed that. Thank you.
Continue readingHm. I wish I could utter a ‘yippee’ about this episode. I didn’t quite hate it as much as Crazytown, but it is coming in a close second as imho weakest episode of season 5 so far. I’ll refrain from going all meme-fest on this one, though. Don’t expect any gushing, either.
Continue readingWoohoo, first new episode after what so many tabloid media outlets frustratingly called an “unprecedented indefinite winter hiatus”! But wait, it’s not April yet. What happened? Well, apparently cancellation of Promised Land happened, and so here we are, with The Good Doctor back on our screens way sooner than we dared hope!
Continue readingNew year, new fanvid! My latest creative endeavour in the video editing realm is centred around Shaun hitting rock bottom after an incredibly difficult time with all the changes and betrayals thrown at him in season 5. (Naturally, contains spoilers for season 5.)
