From the title, it seemed pretty clear what the main theme for this episode would be, and I wasn’t disappointed in that regard. I wasn’t disappointed in other regards either, and this was probably one of the strongest episodes of the season so far. Very emotional, and Shaun really came through in this one.

There’s a reason why I try to avoid spoilers like the plague, and it always sucks balls when I get spoiled anyway because people forget I don’t like knowing ahead of time what’s to come. That said, I ended up actually liking the episode a lot more than I thought. I have mixed feelings for sure, but there’s a lot of good things to denote.

The Big 100! The Good Doctor celebrated the 100^th episode this week, and that’s an amazing milestone to reach! After all the teasing how special it was gonna be, I’m not sure it lived up to the hype, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Happy Halloween! Okay, not anymore, but this episode aired on Halloween, and it shall also be noted that none other than Daniel Dae Kim directed this one. Overall I daresay a pretty solid episode, and definitely lots of character development and interesting aspects to explore. I definitely liked this one.

I have mixed feelings about this one, although overall I came away with a positive impression after the first viewing. Lots of stuff was covered, new things were learned, and it seems the direction of some important aspects just got a serious course adjustment. There’s certainly many things to ponder, so let’s get to it.

This episode made me as conflicted as I think the viewers were supposed to feel about the whole situation with Shaun and Lim. Because when I watched it, I was still so mad about the mess of last week’s episode. I think I really would have enjoyed it more if last week hadn’t left me so aggravated. But overall, I’ll give this one a tentative thumbs up.

Oh man. This feels like Crazytown all over again. I really don’t have many positive things to say about this episode. It’s one of those where I wanna write the recap purely through sarcastic internet memes. This one definitely didn’t push any of my buttons for what I enjoy and expect of intelligent and captivating television.

Hoo boy, what a way to start the season! Excitement, intensity, edge-of-your-seat suspense and emotions galore! I really loved everything about this episode. Top notch work all around.
