How sweet and wholesome was this episode? The whole time I felt like Shaun, giddily bobbing up and down outside Lim’s office when Jared was hired. ALL the Shaun love, and old friends returning didn’t just make Shaun happy.

Can’t say I was very impressed with this one. While mildly amusing at times, it was more than mildly frustrating at others, with patient stories that should have been heartfelt but somehow didn’t deliver on the emotional depth they should have had.

Another thoroughly enjoyable episode that hit all the right beats and was overall wholesome and cohesive with just the right amount of character development. If the season continues like this, I’m happy.

After what I thought was a bunch of rather meh episodes in 2023, this one was definitely a very pleasant surprise that gave me all the smiles and some of the feels. Everything about this episode hit the right marks, and I have two thumbs up for Team Moran, Renaud and Moline. 👍🏼👍🏼

This was kind of a cute one, and I always love when they get the characters out of the hospital. Not a gem as episodes go, but a solidly entertaining one with a few great and impactful moments. I give this one a tentative thumbs up despite the fact that I’m sad to see us losing a resident.

The Good Doctor has returned to our screens after a two months winter hiatus, and it’s wonderful to have it back! Added bonus that I got to watch it first on my birthday. That said, I have mixed feelings about this one, which I’ll get into in more detail below.

Winter finale time! Usually that means cliffhanger, and a cliffhanger was definitely what we got, but not the kind I was expecting. I will say I wasn’t overly enthused by some aspects of the episode, so there’s a number of good and a number of what I thought not so good things to dig into.

From the title, it seemed pretty clear what the main theme for this episode would be, and I wasn’t disappointed in that regard. I wasn’t disappointed in other regards either, and this was probably one of the strongest episodes of the season so far. Very emotional, and Shaun really came through in this one.

There’s a reason why I try to avoid spoilers like the plague, and it always sucks balls when I get spoiled anyway because people forget I don’t like knowing ahead of time what’s to come. That said, I ended up actually liking the episode a lot more than I thought. I have mixed feelings for sure, but there’s a lot of good things to denote.

The Big 100! The Good Doctor celebrated the 100^th episode this week, and that’s an amazing milestone to reach! After all the teasing how special it was gonna be, I’m not sure it lived up to the hype, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Happy Halloween! Okay, not anymore, but this episode aired on Halloween, and it shall also be noted that none other than Daniel Dae Kim directed this one. Overall I daresay a pretty solid episode, and definitely lots of character development and interesting aspects to explore. I definitely liked this one.
