After what I thought was a bunch of rather meh episodes in 2023, this one was definitely a very pleasant surprise that gave me all the smiles and some of the feels. Everything about this episode hit the right marks, and I have two thumbs up for Team Moran, Renaud and Moline. 👍🏼👍🏼
Continue readingThis was kind of a cute one, and I always love when they get the characters out of the hospital. Not a gem as episodes go, but a solidly entertaining one with a few great and impactful moments. I give this one a tentative thumbs up despite the fact that I’m sad to see us losing a resident.
Continue readingThe Good Doctor has returned to our screens after a two months winter hiatus, and it’s wonderful to have it back! Added bonus that I got to watch it first on my birthday. That said, I have mixed feelings about this one, which I’ll get into in more detail below.
Continue readingWith just about a week to go until The Good Doctor returns to our screens, I’d love to take a look back at the nine episodes out of season 6 that have already aired and review Shaun’s journey to look closer at the scenes that stood out to me. Come along for the ride!
Continue readingWinter finale time! Usually that means cliffhanger, and a cliffhanger was definitely what we got, but not the kind I was expecting. I will say I wasn’t overly enthused by some aspects of the episode, so there’s a number of good and a number of what I thought not so good things to dig into.

That said, I ended up actually liking the episode a lot more than I thought. I have mixed feelings for sure, but there’s a lot of good things to denote.
Continue readingThe Big 100! The Good Doctor celebrated the 100th episode this week, and that’s an amazing milestone to reach! After all the teasing how special it was gonna be, I’m not sure it lived up to the hype, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Continue readingHappy Halloween! Okay, not anymore, but this episode aired on Halloween, and it shall also be noted that none other than Daniel Dae Kim directed this one. Overall I daresay a pretty solid episode, and definitely lots of character development and interesting aspects to explore. I definitely liked this one.
Continue readingI have mixed feelings about this one, although overall I came away with a positive impression after the first viewing. Lots of stuff was covered, new things were learned, and it seems the direction of some important aspects just got a serious course adjustment. There’s certainly many things to ponder, so let’s get to it.

I really think that the writers’ room is taking it to a whole new level this year, and I’m very grateful for that, because they’re making me feel an unprecedented level of anticipation about upcoming episodes. Which makes it even more bewildering that the general mood of the fandom is so out of whack.
